Hey! I’m from Kentucky, and one of the Girl Scout camps nearby could potentially be harmed by some Western Kentucky Minerals surface mining. Could you please post this link to our petition and ask people to sign it? We’re trying to save our camp!

oh my gosh, this is so wonderful. i can relate to so many of these! especially the one about talking to a male counsellor. this past summer my best friend at camp was male and during a leadership week when the campers were all high school students i had a group of 8 girls who all thought that we were dating because we were always talking and sitting together during all camp activities. to solve the problem though during regular camp we just say that everyone is related to one another which is true since by the end of the summer the whole staff becomes one big happy family.
