Day Songs Master Post || Slow/Night Songs Master Post
And other such overplayed 90’s tunes. <3
Most of these are submitted by users, with a few of my own thrown in. I’m really sorry CCC’s come to a halt this last week, guys! I’ve been dying of some awful plague I got walking around in the snow without a jacket. :(

Edit: Updated!
This is a repeat-and-answer song!
The Princess Pat
lived in a tree.
She sailed across
the seven seas!
She sailed across
the channel too
and she took with her
a rickabamboo!
Now Captain Jack
had a mighty fine crew.
They sailed across
the channel too!
But his ship sank
and yours will, too
if you don’t take
A rickabamboo!
Now Princess Pat
saw Captain Jack.
She reeled him in
and brought him back!
She saved his life
and his crew too!
And do you know how?
With the rickabamboo!
Admin comment: Have any of you ever heard the songs “Dead Moose”, “Ghost Chickens in the Sky”, or “On Ilkla Moor Baht’at”? The last one’s a personal favorite- all banned for singing in front of our youngest.

I said a boom-chicka-boom!
I said a boom-chicka-rocka-chicka-rocka-chicka-boom!
Uh, huh! Oh, yeah!
One more time!
At I’m sure most or all camps, there are repeat-and-answer songs. Examples: Boom-Chicka-Boom, The Princess Pat, Crazy Moose (or Great Big Moose) and Everywhere We Go (People Wanna Know).
At my camp, us counselors have had to come up with more and more creative ways to say “I sing a line, you sing it back!” because that line triggers a song from other counselors, and it goes a little like this:
“Honey, honey, I sing a line, you sing it back, a-a-a-a,
I sing a line, you sing back, we’ll learn this song really fast!
Honey, oh babe of mine, YEEHAW!”
I traveled to some other Girl Scout camps over my CIT training and found that they had no idea what the Honey, Honey song was! Do any of you have any songs like this, to heckle your beloved sweepers (singers)?
