Because I can. I’m going to start off with one of my very favorite break stories, and I want you guys to reblog and tell yours :). Ready?

Okay, last summer, I got really sick the first week there (potentially passed on by a camper). I spent most of my breaks curled up in Okashi (staff lounge-turned health hut) trying to sleep, when my UL wasn’t making me sit in there any other time. A couple days in, I was in there for maybe half an hour, alone because our nurse, Bean, was out when the only male staff member came banging through the front door. I swear, he kicked it open and it hit the wall so hard I thought something had exploded. I sat up long enough to reach for my glasses and just say, “…Lorax?”
He whipped around and, making no attempt to lower his voice, said, “…OH. ….HEY.”
“…What are you doing?”
“I’M LOOKING FOR BEAN.”
And then he runs out the back door and slams it shut. It was simultaneously the rudest and funniest thing that had happened all week, and later at lunch I made a point of relaying it to the table I was heading (which contained Lorax, Bean, and a few other counselors). 
”So, anyone wanna guess who woke me up today?”
Lorax just raaaaaiiised his hand, and there was a good round of laughter before I told the story. Bean said, “I changed the sign in the window! It said I wasn’t there!”
And Lorax immediately retorted with, “You never change the sign!” 
“Lorax, did you check the sign?” I asked, giving him the most condescending look I could muster up.
”NO, BECAUSE SHE NEVER CHANGES THE SIGN!”
It’s a really fantastic story. I tell it to everyone who’ll listen to this day.
